Dr. Seyi Bolorunduro, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI is an esteemed interventional cardiologist at NOVA Cardiovascular Care, known for his extensive clinical experience and procedural expertise. A graduate as class valedictorian from the University of Ilorin College of Medicine in Nigeria, Dr. Bolorunduro was awarded a prestigious full tuition and stipend Global Health scholarship to pursue his Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York and went on to complete a General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. Further enhancing his specialization, he pursued an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the renowned Columbia University Medical Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Bolorunduro’s contributions to the practice are significant, reflecting his commitment to advancing cardiovascular care.

Board-certified in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Seyi Bolorunduro has performed thousands of heart procedures, including catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, complex high risk coronary procedures including chronic total occlusions, and peripheral interventions. His advanced procedural skills and unwavering dedication to patient care have garnered him significant recognition, including the “Best Doctor” awards for Northern Virginia.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Bolorunduro has authored over 40 manuscripts published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. His research contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Young Investigator Awards from both the American College of Cardiology and the Association of Black Cardiologists.
