Samuel Dogbey, PA

Samuel Dogbey, PA-C, MPAS, is a dedicated and experienced physician assistant at NOVA Cardiovascular Care. He brings a rich background in holistic and compassionate patient care to the team.

Dr. Dogbey earned his medical degree (MB ChB) and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Ghana. After completing his internship, he practiced in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, where he gained extensive experience and led the establishment of a new district hospital in Sunyani, serving as its first Medical Superintendent.

In 2007, Dr. Dogbey moved to the United States with his family and pursued further education, obtaining his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University in VirginiaHe joined NOVA Cardiovascular Care in 2017, where he has been an integral part of the team, known for his thoroughness and dedication to patient education.

​

Dr. Dogbey’s approach to cardiovascular medicine is deeply rooted in his belief that compassionate care and the healing arts are not just professions but callings in life. His patients appreciate his holistic approach and the time he takes to ensure they understand their conditions and treatment options.
